An agreement on the production of the fifth-generation Japanese machines in Kavrov

July 31 in Moscow, in the office of the Vladimir region of the Russian Government signed an agreement between OAO "Highland Electromechanical Plant" OJSC ("KEMP") and the company "Takisava Machinery Co. Toole. Ltd. "(" Takisava ") for the licensed production of a new generation of lathes in carpeted.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor Gennady Amelin, General Director of JSC "KEMP" Vladimir Lebedev and president of "Takisava" Mr. Kazuhiro Harada.

"Takisava" transfers of "KEMP" exclusive use of the technical information transferred under the Agreement for the assembly, sales, conducting pre-commissioning and service of CNC lathes model TS-4000 in Russia and the CIS.

This equipment is the fifth generation — the result of the latest developments of the Japanese company — will be tested in the first place in the shops Kovrovskogo electromechanical plant as part of the modernization of the defense industry.

The region‘s potential for machine tool production line allows you to produce high-precision machine tools of the fifth generation in the first stage in volumes of up to 600 units per year in the future — in cooperation with the machine tool enterprises of the region — up to 1,700 units.

This will be the beginning of a new regional promotion of the project to create the Federal Center of machine tool based on JSC "KEMP" and the localization of production of modern high-precision machine tools, in cooperation with leading enterprises of the region.
