Autotor began production crossover Opel Antara and Chevrolet Captiva

Kaliningrad factory "Autotor" started production of two new models — Opel Antara and Chevrolet Captiva. Already several tens of each model. 

It is planned that in March, the plant will be produced over 250 models of Opel Antara and about 160 — Chevrolet Captiva. Previously, these models were produced at the St. Petersburg plant GM-Auto, but after reystalinga Chevrolet Captiva and Opel Antara, GM moved their production to "Autotor."

"Autotor" — Automobile assembly plant in the Kaliningrad region. Founded in 1996. In 2011, "Autotor" increased production by 30.5% to 222,081 vehicles, setting another personal record and the fifth consecutive year, becoming the largest producer of cars in Russia.  

 

 

According to the agency "Finmarket", in early 2012, "Autotor" also plans to launch an upgraded version of Chevrolet Aveo. During 2012, investments in the production of new models will be 65 million euros. In 2012, the plant is expected to produce about 300,000 cars of different brands (+35% last year).
