Russian national biathlon team on Sunday won the gold medal in the mixed relay at the Biathlon World Cup in Austria.
The Russian team, which included Olga were Viluhina, Olga Zaitseva, Alexey Volkov and Anton Shipulin, won the first place, going the distance in one hour 13 minutes and 33.4 seconds.
This was the first victory at this stage of the competition for the last six years. Last Russian biathletes won the mixed relay in March 2006 at the World Championships in Slovenia.
The Czech Republic finished second relay, and the French got the bronze.
