Description of the project
Construction of a bridge on the Russian island is part of the program of preparation for the APEC summit, which will be held in Vladivostok in 2012.

The bridge on the Russian island is one of the largest cable-stayed bridges in the world, the central span is 1,104 m in length will be a record in the world of bridge construction.

The construction of the bridge is determined based on two main factors:
The shortest distance in the water area at the intersection of the bridge 1460 meters. The depth of the channel reaches 50 metrov.Rayon construction of the bridge is characterized by difficult climatic conditions: the temperature drop from 31 to 37 degrees, the speed of the storm winds of up to 36 m / s, the height of the storm surge of up to 6 meters, in the winter there is the formation of ice thickness of up to 70 centimeters .

The construction of the reinforced concrete pylon

Under each of the two 320-meter bridge pylons arranged 120 bored piles (of pole M-7 with the Russian side of the island — with recoverable metal sheath).

Concreting of the pylons by an original self-climbing formwork zahvatki by 4.5 meters. In the first three-bay crane is used, then shuttering starts moving independently by the hydraulic movement of modular elements.

The pylons of the bridge A-frame, so the use of standard formwork impossible. For each pylon mounted a set.

Going by type of cross-section is made in the level of the jumpers at levels 66.26 and 191.48 meters.

The use of self-climbing formwork can improve the quality and reduce the construction period of monolithic reinforced concrete structures in the half.

At a height of 197.5 m zone begins fixing guys. Installation of cable-stayed couples and concreting body pylon will be held at the same time. Such a technological solution drastically reduces construction time.

Installation of the central span

The design of the superstructure has an aerodynamic cross-section for the perception of the squally wind loads. Configuration section of the superstructure is determined on the basis of aerodynamic calculations and optimized according to the results of the experimental treatment on the scale model of the design stage.

Mounting on the compound used for welding the longitudinal and transverse seams of the cover sheet and the bottom plate orthotropic ribbed plate. For joints vertical wall blocks longitudinal ribs transverse beams and diaphragms applied installation for high-strength bolts.

Krupnosbornye 24-meter sections for assembly of the central span in specially designated "window" delivered by barge to the assembly and lift the valve at the 76 meter mark. This 340-ton elements fit together and fasten them to the guys.

Cable system takes care of all static and dynamic loads, it depends on them the very existence of the bridge. Guys are not designed for the life of the bridge, but they can be repaired and maximum protection not only from the elements but also on other adverse effects.

The length of the shortest guys — 135.771 m, the longest — 579,83 m Containment guy has the following properties:

  • resistance to UV rays;
  • resistance to ambient climatic conditions Vladivostok (temperature range from-40C to +40 C).
