BTK tanker has in operation Peace, built by JSC Baltic Shipyard

GC "Baltic Fuel Company (" BTC, St. Petersburg) and JSC "Baltic Shipyard" signed the act of putting into operation the third tanker series of four non-powered oil tanker project in 2734 in a solemn ceremony in the 156-day anniversary of the plant. The ship was named the "World" and was launched on April 27, 2012.

In early June 2012, the ship will leave on its maiden voyage on inland waterways (GDP) in Russia.

All of this series are built tankers Baltic Fuel Company for transportation of petroleum products by GDP. The first two vessels — tankers "Thais" (launched on September 27, 2011) and the tanker "Maria" (launched on December 29, 2011) started to work with the opening of river navigation in 2012 at the beginning of May.

Not self-propelled oil tankers Project 2734 are equipped with double bottom and double sides. Tanker tonnage of 5,000 tons. The vessel is 108.32 m, width — 16.86 m, depth — 4.75 m Vessels built under the supervision of Russian River Register with international environmental safety requirements, rules and regulations of commercial shipbuilding.

In the navigation on the 2012 Russian GDP in the transportation of petroleum products BTK intends to use six tankers with a total carrying capacity of 30,000 tons. The company plans to carry through its own fleet of at least 500,000 tons of oil products. And in 2013 BTK navigation plans to strengthen its position in the field of oil transportation by Russia’s GDP, including through the construction of a new fleet.
