Chornomornaftogaz started to drill another hole on the Black Sea shelf

"Chernomorneftegas" (part of "Naftogaz of Ukraine") has begun drilling the 18th producing well in a stiff gas-condensate field. This is stated in the press service of the company.

Drilling conducts jackup drilling rig (jack-up) "Siwash" on fixed offshore platform, MSP-17. The design depth of drilling a well — more than 2 km. The coast of SME-17 — more than 70 km, the depth of the sea — 60 m

According to the report, to date, production from the platform is 80% of the total production of hydrocarbons "Chornomornaftohaz."

Prior to the jack-up drilling of said well "Siwash" completed work on the exploration well Subbotinskom oil field in the Kerch area.

As reported OilNews, «Chernomorneftegaz" exceeded the plan in 2011 for the extraction of oil and gas condensate production by 10%. Net income koskompanii in January-September 2011 increased by 8.51% compared to the same period in 2010 — up to 43,310,000 USD.

"Chernomorneftegas" (Simferopol, Crimea) is a part of "Naftogaz of Ukraine" and specializes in the exploration and production of oil and gas in the Black and Azov Seas. The company also produces hydrocarbons from fields in the Crimea, exploits located on the peninsula Glebovskoye gas storage and gas pipelines.

At present, the company had 17 fields, of which 11 gas, gas condensate and four two oil.
