Cisco has taken another step to expand production of its products in Russia. Started production of unified wireless access points, Cisco AIR-CAP2602I-R-K9 and AIR-CAP2602E-R-K9 with built-in and external antennas.

Cisco develops its own production in Russia in the framework of implementation of the commitments made by the meeting of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and the head of Cisco John Chambers in 2010. According to the agreements reached at the meeting, for the next ten years, Cisco invests in Russia’s high-tech development and production of a total of one billion dollars.
Cisco 2600 series access points are designed to work in networks that require high-performance Wi-Fi channels for connecting consumer devices — laptops, and specialized equipment industry, the company said. Devices in this series are part of the equipment for the Unified Wireless Network Cisco, capable of supporting up to 72 thousands of wireless access points with full mobility on the third OSI network layer in the central and remote areas.
The U.S. company Cisco Systems develops and markets network equipment and software solutions. Its headquarters is located in San Jose (California). The company has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as in a number of cities in the CIS. One of the most famous products of the company is the system of video conferencing Cisco Telepresense.
