Deputy Minister: Consortium of Tomsk universities — an example of innovation
The deputy minister noted that the consortium of Tomsk universities was created by one of the first in Russia.

The work of the consortium universities in the Tomsk region, actively collaborating with research institutes and companies in the region, for the whole country can become an example of successful innovation, according to Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russia Lyudmila Ogorodova.
In an interview with RIA Novosti deputy minister noted that the consortium was created by one of the first in Russia, and based on it very quickly there was an association of universities and research institutes.
She noted the active participation of scientists from the region in state programs for science and technology. "I can confirm this is such an example: the analysis concluded the Federal Target Program" Research and development on priority directions of scientific-technical complex of Russia for 2007-2013 "showed that the Tomsk won the same number of grants under the program, how about the rest of Siberia, together taken, "- added Ogorodova.
According to him, targeted support from the authorities of the Tomsk region — one of the factors in the successful development of science in the region.
