Detachment of Russian warships led by the BOD Marshal Shaposhnikov

arrived in Seychelles

Troop ships of the Pacific Fleet has made planning a business visit to the port of Victoria — the capital of the Seychelles.
The large anti-submarine ship "Marshal Shaposhnikov" moored at the pier base of the Navy of the Republic of Seychelles.
On the pier, Pacific Fleet was met by representatives of the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Seychelles.
Then, the squadron commander, Rear Admiral Vladimir Vdovenco struck ceremonial visit the Minister of Internal Affairs and Transport Joel Morgan RSO. The official delegation of the Pacific Fleet commander also took the Popular Defence Forces, Brigadier General Leonard RSO Payet.
For the crew of the ship is scheduled sporting events with colleagues from the Armed Forces of North Ossetia, bus tours of the city. In addition, the ship will visit the representatives of the authorities of Seychelles, compatriots of the Russian diaspora in the islands, the inhabitants of the city.
February 9th Pacific Fleet will take part in the cultural program of the annual international carnival, which begins in the capital of the Seychelles Victoria.
Business visit to the Pacific Fleet squadron to the Seychelles will end on February 11.
