National Joint Stock Company (NAC) "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in October-December 2011, produced in Egypt more than 125 thousand barrels of crude oil. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine on the implementation of the work plan for the past year, "Interfax-Ukraine".
"On April 18, 2010" Naftogaz of Ukraine "is engaged in commercial production and delivery of oil from the field HG Eastern bloc Alam El Shawish under the terms of the concession agreement. As of 23 December 2011 on the unit produced over 685 thousand barrels of crude oil, "- the document says.
According to previously published data of the Ministry, to June 30, 2011 on the block produced 454 thousand barrels of crude oil for September 30, 2011 — over 560 thousand barrels.
The Ministry noted that at the end of last year, state-owned holding completed drilling of 25 wells and found six oil fields.

Oil production in Ukraine in 2011 decreased by 6.3% compared with 2010 — up to 2.409 million tons of gas condensate — by 6.4%, to 917 thousand tons.
Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in 2011 reduced the Ukrainian oil production by 5.4% — up to 2.251 million tons of gas condensate — by 9.9%, to 787 thousand tons.
