February 24, 2012, Moscow — Executive Director of EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency, Patrick Hood today handed type certificate for aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100 (RRJ-95B) of the company "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" (SCAC) at a ceremony held at the seat of apartment Interstate Aviation Committee in Moscow. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian and European aviation authorities, the Russian aviation industry.
EASA has issued a Type Certificate A-176 aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100 (RRJ-95B) February 3, 2012 This certificate confirms that the company "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" (SCAC) has demonstrated compliance with the applicable requirements of the SSJ100 EASA airworthiness and environmental environment. EASA certificate allows European airlines and airlines of States in which EASA regulations adopted as a standard, to receive and operate aircraft SSJ100 (RRJ-95B). Sukhoi Superjet 100 is the first Russian passenger aircraft certified under c aviation rules CS-25 EASA.
Obtaining the Certificate validation by EASA Type Certificate issued by the Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) was the result of the completion of large-scale certification program undertaken by EASA, IAC and GSS together with the certification centers, the company Alenia Aermacchi (former name of Alenia Aeronautica) and major equipment suppliers and aircraft systems.
European validation process began after the filing of the application for certification of IAC in 2004 and passed in parallel with the certification IAC four different phases: awareness, coordination of certification programs, conformity assessment and preparation of the final report. European aviation experts first familiarized with the aircraft, then deeply analyzed its characteristics and the final stage received confirmation of performance and safety of the airplane. The validation process has confirmed the compliance liner SSJ100 stringent European aviation regulations, resulting in the issuance of the type certificate EASA.
European validation program included a number of special flight and ground tests. In particular the EASA pilots conducted the session on the integral stand GSS "E-Bird" and participated in 45 certification flights totaling about 70 flight hours in order to ensure the safety of the aircraft and appropriate behavior in any situation. Ground tests included load limit pressurized fuselage pressurized cabin, an imitation bird strike in nadfonarnuyu of the cabin crew, Simulated impact fragment pneumatics in the fuel tank and a fire proof made of composite materials flap. Within 10 working groups (panels) were analyzed, informed and articulate 84 CRI and 60 CAI (sections certification tasks) closed more than 500 received from the aviation authorities of questions.
