It was reported earlier that the complex will be based in Nakhodka. The structure of one regiment of S-400 usually consists of two divisions of eight launchers each.
When it set a new regimental S-400 is planned to put on combat duty, is still unknown. Currently in Russia on combat duty two regiments and one battalion of S-400. They are located in suburban Elektrostal and Dmitrov, as well as in the Kaliningrad region. Delivery of S-400 is part of the state armaments program for 2011-2020. In total, the Russian Defense Ministry intends to buy 56 battalions (28 regiments) of S-400.
All new S-400 will be primarily in coastal and border areas of Russia.
