Fanis Fatkhullin — welder Naberezhnye Chelny CHP won the first national competition of excellence "National Championship WorldSkills Russia — 2013".

WorldSkills International (WSI) — an international movement whose goal is to promote the work of professions, raising the status and standards of professional training and qualifications across the globe.

WSI is the main activity of the organization in different countries, professional skills contests WorldSkills, where young professionals have the opportunity to express themselves and showcase their skills. May 17, 2012 at the General Assembly WSI, held in South Korea, Russia officially became the 60 th member of ¬ international organization WorldSkills International.
 
The first national championship was held in Togliatti. Contest was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (independent non-profit organization established by the Government of Russia to advance priority projects, the implementation of measures to improve the business environment in Russia and the development of professional staff), Foundation "Education — Society", created in 2008 by renowned Russian scientists and public figures and the Government of the Samara region.

In the contest involved 310 people from 45 regions of the country on the 22nd competencies.

Fanis Fatkhullin, while still a student at the Naberezhnye Chelny Polytechnic College, was an active participant in the city, national and regional competitions of professional excellence and always getting their prize. At the National Championships in the competence of "Welding Technology", which involved 38 welders, Fanis won 1st place. At a ceremony in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT Prime Minister Ildar Halikov gave him a letter of thanks of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The winners of the first national championship for the first time will represent Russia at the world championships WorldSkills International in Leipzig in the summer of 2013.
