EMSS — wind turbine rotors for General Electric

PJSC "EMSS" (EMSS, enters the engineering division of Rosatom — AtomEnergoMash) has won the tender for the supply of products for the energy industry.

It resulted in the 2014 EMSS will supply for the U.S. company General Electric rotor for 83 wind turbines of 1.5 MW each. The weight of each of the rotor of 6.5 m, and the weight of the entire order — 539 tons

Also, according to the results of the tender will receive an order from General Electric to manufacture rotors for wind power capacity of 1.6 MW. For this EMSS will be qualified in terms of which the company is to produce 10 of the rotor shaft.

This opens broad prospects for the company, as the company General Electric in 2014 announced plans to increase the production of wind power by 2.5 times compared to 2013
