Equipment for the first floating nuclear power delivered to the Baltic Shipyard

Two steam turbine plants for the world’s first floating nuclear power plant (FNPP) "Academician Lomonosov" made of "Kaluga Turbine Plant" (part of the concern "Power Machines"), arrived at JSC "Baltic Shipyard".

Steam turbine unit (PTU) were transported by water from Kaluga in St. Petersburg on the Baltic plant where the unit continues to build floating nuclear power plant. The platform unit "Academician Lomonosov" was made at the Baltic Shipyard and launched in June 2010.

PTU were shipped with the "GTC" in the fall of 2010, equipment winter in Serpukhov (Moscow region) in purpose-built premises, and in April of this year, continued his way to St. Petersburg.

"KTZ" designed and made for the power FNTPP two steam turbine plants block the execution capacity of 35 MW each. Generators for vocational manufactured and delivered to "KTZ", OJSC "Power Machines". Customer equipment — JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom".
