French Plastic Omnium chose St. Petersburg for its third plant in Russia

French automotive supplier Plastic Omnium is building in St. Petersburg plant fuel systems for Nissan, General Motors and Ford. The new plant Plastic Omnium, which will be the third in Russia, will be built by 2013, a joint venture between Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy ("daughter" Plastic Omnium) and Russia‘s "Deltastroykonstruktsiya" (DSC). 51% of the company belongs to the French side.

Plastic Omnium Group already produces fuel systems (mainly for cars Renault Dacia) plant in g.Stavrovo (Vladimir region) and the gas tanks of Togliatti — mainly for AvtoVAZ.

By 2015. Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy expects to produce more than one million Russian fuel tanks a year and take, so 40% of the local market.

In 2011. Group revenues increased by 30% — to 4.22 billion euros, net profit increased by 14% — to 171 million euros. About 55% of the share capital is owned by Plastic Omnium Burelle, controlled by the French family Byurelley, 35% of shares are in free float. Shares are traded on Euronext at Paris.

Ltd. "Deltastroykonstruktsiya" (Togliatti), specializes in the manufacture of car interior and parts of the fuel system. The main consumers are the company AvtoVAZ, Russian companies Ford, Nissan, General Motors, Hyundai.
