From Russia to China in 2012 will be supplied 2.6 billion kW / h of electricity

JSC «Eastern Energy Company" in the Group "INTER RAO UES" nachalo supply electricity to China via a new 500 kV transmission line "Amur-Heihe."

The flow of the new line is part of a long-term contract with the State Grid Corporation of China to supply China with a total power of 100 billion kWh for 25 years. The contract for the supply of electricity until 2036 was signed with China in February 2012.

It is planned that in 2012 the volume of Russian electricity in China will exceed 2.6 billion kWh. For comparison — in 2011 the total volume of electricity exports to China amounted to 1.2 billion kWh.
