From the pile of Plant of Nizhny Novgorod Ship launched on ship-handling tug

August 1, 2012 a pile of JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Factory Ship" launched berthing tug ice class project TG04M (building number 703). The vessel was built under the supervision of the Russian River Register by order of "Rosmorport".

In June 2011, plant "Nizhny Novgorod Ship" won the open tender for the construction of two ice-class tugs for "Rosmorport". KIT is proposed for the construction of the project TG04M, claiming total construction period of 15 months. Keely both ships were laid down 8 December 2011. The second tug will be launched in August 2012. Court will hand over early, ahead of schedule by several months. Both tugs being built for the Azov basin branch "Rosmorport", where by the end of the shipping season, and they will be transferred to the customer.

KIT already has experience in building ice-class tugs. In 2009, commissioned by the MMC "Norilsk Nickel" was built tug "Port 1" project TG04, (yard number 701), who now works at the port of Dudinka. In July 2012, following a successful test run in accordance with the terms of the contract between KIT and MMC "Norilsk Nickel" was signed by the act of acceptance and transfer of icebreaking tug "Port — 2" (building number 702), which will soon also be towed to port Dudinka registry.

Single-deck, twin-screw with bow shoulder of the middle deck, a mid-wheelhouse and engine room, with icebreaker stem.


The tug is designed for towing and berthing operations and carry up to 12 passengers (Raid transport dock workers) without performing towing operations.

Navigation area and operating conditions

 Inland basins and river estuaries to marine navigation mode discharge "O" under the Rules PPP. Operation of the ship can be in rough seas with wave height of 1% frequency not exceeding 2.0 m at wind speeds up to 18 m / s.

Design outdoor air temperature 45? C at 60% humidity in the summer and at -30? C Humidity 85% in winter, the water from 20? C to -2? C, respectively.

There is a possibility of a vessel is operating with its frozen in ice for 6 months without a warm-MO and marine areas. Commissioning is carried out after the winter lay at low ambient temperatures down to -20? With both positive (created by an electric heater) in MO.
