North-Caucasian Zonal Research Station on Poultry (FSUE "turkey Stavropol") since 2011 is implementing an investment project, the essence of which — the introduction of innovative technologies in fattening turkeys. At the first stage of the project turned out good results. Production of dietary meat turkey in 2011 was 1.3 million tons.
In the framework of implementation of the investment company buys technological equipment, repair driveways, buys energy-saving lamps, wall panels and acquires building materials, cell and agricultural equipment.
During this period, the breeding goal was made up to 3.4 million pieces of turkey eggs, which is 120% higher than last year. Poultry Experiment Station in St. George’s provides quality products not only to Stavropol region, but other regions of Russia.
