Gazprom to create a unified gas supply system of the entire Russian

"In the end, we will combine the western and eastern parts, and create a unified gas supply system in Russia is already in the literal sense of the word," — said the head of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller.

In St. Petersburg hosts III St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. In his work, attended by a delegation of OAO "Gazprom". At the opening ceremony the company chairman Alexei Miller welcomed the participants of the event.

Work in the East Russian "Gazprom" will also, as in other regions — the complex, according to a unified approach, "the market." Output of the East has a very specific and serious to be materially different from everything that has been done over the last 40 years in Western Siberia. Gas of Eastern Siberia is a multicomponent, "fat" gas. This means that the creation of new production capacities must be rigidly synchronized with the creation of facilities for gas processing and gas chemistry. "This is a completely new approach is a completely new challenge that we have to decide that we do not actually encountered in natural gas production in Western Siberia. As for the demand for gas, which we now see in the East, it is fully secured resource base, "- said Alexey Miller.

Given that the gas market in the East is very capacious and fast growing, the company will increase the funding of the Eastern Gas Program, including exploration and capacity of the resource base. "The priority of" Gazprom "in the East was and is the domestic consumer. However, in the medium term, we can reach the level of supply of gas for export to the Asia-Pacific region, which will be comparable to the volumes supplied to Europe. In this case, the supply of pipeline gas are only in China, "- said Alexey Miller.

At the plenary session on cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region in the oil and gas sector was also deputy chairman Vitaly Markelov. In his report presented the strategic direction of "Gazprom" in the East of Russia.

It was noted that the implementation of the state of the Eastern Gas Program and projects of "Gazprom" in the East, Russia will provide a substantial increase in the production of primary energy resources in the region will form an effective gas industry, on the basis of which will create the conditions for rapid economic and social development of the territories of Eastern Siberia and the Far East .

The speaker emphasized that the main objective of the company in the East of Russia — the creation of the necessary resource base, the development of gas supply and eastern regions of the country, access to new markets for Russian Pacific Rim countries. In addition, in the East of Russia will be a powerful processing and helium industry.

"Gazprom" is actively developing its resource base for onshore and offshore Eastern Siberia and the Far East. In particular, the fully completed prospecting (exploration) in the Kirinskoye field offshore Sakhalin Island, is his arrangement, and this year it is planned to start production. Conducted exploration in the South Kirinskoye field, East Odoptinskaya and Ayashsky sites on the Sakhalin shelf, Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia and other licensed areas.

The company continues to consistently create the eastern part of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia. Built pipeline "Sobolevo — Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky," which began on gas supplies to consumers of the capital of Kamchatka. Commissioned the first in the Far East, inter-regional transmission system (GTS) "Sakhalin — Khabarovsk — Vladivostok", which allowed consumers to start gas supply to the Primorsky Krai. To increase the consumption of "Gazprom" plans to further development of the GTS. An important step will be the construction of hydraulic structures "Power of Siberia", which will bring together the Irkutsk and Yakutsk gas production centers and will transport gas through these centers Khabarovsk to Vladivostok.

In the area of Blagoveshchensk (Amur region) is planned to establish a gas processing, and helium gas and chemical cluster to produce products with high added value that will make an additional contribution to the socio-economic development of the region.

Despite the significant resources of natural gas, the level of gasification of Eastern Russia are much lower and the average is about 7%. According to Vitaly Markelov, the Eastern Gas Program will significantly raise the rate. Russian gas supply to consumers is a priority for "Gazprom". In this connection, in parallel with the development of gas transportation capacity, the company launched a large-scale gasification eastern regions. At present, the territory of Kamchatka, Primorye and Khabarovsk, Sakhalin "Gazprom" is construction and design work for almost four decades of inter-settlement gas pipelines.

The gradual increase in the share of gas as the cleanest fuel in the fuel and energy balance of the Far Eastern Federal District gives a significant effect on the ecology of cities. Thus, the conversion of coal to gas thermal power station in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok will significantly reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Significant contribution to the improvement of the environment will also make a transfer motor vehicles and agricultural equipment to natural gas. The corresponding program for the period 2014-2020’s signed "Gazprom" with a number of eastern regions.

Deputy Chairman of the Board noted that the active work of "Gazprom" in the East, Russia will organize a major new center here Russian gas export-oriented country in the Asia Pacific region. Implementation of the project "Vladivostok-LNG" jumping to the investment stage, will strengthen the company’s position in the fast growing Asian market. "Gazprom" has already started commercial negotiations with potential buyers of the Vladivostok LNG. Commercial negotiations will be continued on the "eastern" route of gas supplies to China, involving the construction of a gas lateral from TCU "The Power of Siberia" in Blagoveshchensk.

In conclusion, Vitaly Markelov drew attention to the exceptional importance of integrated support projects from the eastern part of the state. "Gazprom" is implementing projects in difficult climatic conditions, often in the absence of physical infrastructure. In this regard, the establishment of the East Russian favorable tax treatment, the improvement of pricing mechanisms on the domestic market will encourage a high rate of development of the gas industry in the region. In addition, the importance of the development of the state should have a basic transport and energy infrastructure in the project area, including the construction of roads, bridges and power lines to their inclusion in the state program "Social and economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region."
