Dmitry Lelikov discussed with the leadership of "Gear-PM" the current state of affairs for the construction of a new production building company, which should accommodate assembly plant, testing facilities and engineering and technical services. 

Today completed the design process, is preparing a working document, initiated the dismantling of old structures located on site. Delivery of the new building, which is planned for 2014, will be another step towards the concentration of all the units of "Gear-PM" on the same site.

This in turn will not only significantly reduce transportation costs, will help address the shortage of available land assembly and test facilities, but will more effectively implement modern principles of the organization of production.

Over the past five years in a complex 69 a large-scale work of modernization. It was conducted in three areas: renewal of machine tools for machining parts, creation of new areas — chemical and thermal processing and production of foundry equipment.

Today, in a complex of 69 "Gear-PM" most of the details of the processing operations translated into modern equipment such as gear hobbing and gear grinding machines from GLEASON, horizontal machining CNC PUMA, machine for chamfering gears firm Fimat, rotary extrusion machines . For example, in mid-2012 created a site that is technologically connected line of various pieces of equipment (mostly firm GLEASON), for performance profiling and monitoring of the cutting tool as well as a high-precision assembly and control cutting heads.

Implementation of the technology of high-precision cutting tools carbide allowed to produce bevel gear with high (fourth) level of accuracy for optimum cutting speed (200 m / min), ensuring high quality of the surface layer of the teeth cavities and increase the productivity of the process hobbing. All equipment is located in a common area network, so that greatly reduces the time for its readjustment.

Work to create plot chemical heat treatment (HTO) began in OAO "Gear-PM" in 2008. Today, virtually every piece of equipment at the site XTO unique to Russia: multi-chamber furnace with a protective environment, vacuum furnace for hardening and tempering the press, washing machine for degreasing of parts, as well as advanced measurement, control and research instruments for the laboratory. In the project area creating XTO main partner of "Gear-PM" was the German company IVA Industrieofen GmbH, which is one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of highly efficient equipment for heat treatment.

Start-up operations in the area of foundry equipment began in January 2013. The design capacity of the site, as measured in the averaged sets of foundry equipment, accounting for 40 sets per year. Hardware section taken in several zones. In the open part of the installed milling machines, accessories and organized assembly and bench seats. For equipment requiring special environmental parameters — setting prototyping, installation S-MAX and measuring machines — built and prepared separate rooms.

In the immediate vicinity of the production site are located offices of the design bureau of foundry equipment and a group of technologists. This allows you to quickly respond to problems inherent in the production of the unit. Special attention should be applied by designers simulation system of casting processes ProCast.

This software allows you to simulate the casting process, performed for each particular alloy thermal design, calculations of the microstructure, stress, deformation, shrinkage. This makes it possible to carry out a full analysis of the casting technique, correct it at the design stage.
