In the Khabarovsk Territory and the DFO as a whole have a situation where glass containers required for the production of food products imported from factories located in Western Siberia, and for the most part in the Volga and Central Federal Districts.
Due to the cost of transportation cost of glass doubles, hampering the development of the regional breweries, distilleries and food industry and tax revenues in the budgets of the Federation and local budgets.
To meet the needs and development of the brewery, distillery industries, manufacturers of canned fruit and vegetable products, create jobs and improve the social climate of the region’s group of companies "Nut-Zuyevskaya Glass Company" (HA OZSK) with the support of the Government of Khabarovsk Krai started the project of building in Khabarovsk "Far glass plant".
The project is supported by the regional government. Guarantee in the amount of 3.3 billion rubles has been included in the budget of the region in 2012.
Civil OZSK in the production process tends to use the latest equipment and advanced technology. For example, in the production of glass factories OZSK using nanotechnology is applied to a glass bottle of hardening coating. Application of nano-coating technology was worked for several years at the operating plant. Currently, the Civil OZSK actively working in this direction with the company JSC "RUSNANO".
The plant will produce packaging conforming to the requirements of Russian and international standards.
Production of glass containers using nanotechnology will reduce the consumption of raw materials, energy (natural gas, electricity), to reduce the impact on the environment.
For construction glass plant, a new company — Ltd. "Far glass plant" with its registered office in the city of Khabarovsk. Thus, all taxes will remain in the Khabarovsk Territory.
It is planned that the new plant will be located in the industrial area south of the regional center. The plant’s capacity will reach 450 million units of glass. The plant will be equipped with two glass furnaces for the production of colored and colorless container, which will cover the market of the Far East and Eastern Siberia. The plant is designed to produce varied in size and use of products (bottles for beer, wine, champagne, vodka, flasks, damasks, jars for canning and so on).
The result of the construction of the plant will be:
- creating more than 700 jobs as a matter of glassware production and in enterprises — consumers of glass,
- increase in tax revenues to the budgets of different levels both from the glass container production, and on its customers, including, above all, value added tax, excise tax, pension premiums, fees for use of mineral resources, property tax, etc.,
- increase in load generating capacity stable by year and by a significant amount of gas and electricity consumption.
The plant is planned a year after construction began in the first quarter of 2013. It is expected that the capacity of the plant will be fully loaded in 2014. Even today, there is a contract for the supply of bottles from the new plant with the brewing company "Baltika" for 160 million bottles per year (about 40 percent of production). In addition, the emergence of affordable and diverse glass will give impetus to local producers of beer, alcoholic beverages, food products and related industries to increase production, thereby increasing the effect several times.
According to the calculations of Economic Development, the project payback is calculated after 7 years, tax revenues will increase by 3 edge milliard rubles a year when the plant is at full capacity.
