High-voltage line stretching over 100 kilometers launched in Kolyma

The region has launched the first start-up complex high-voltage line "Central — Falcon — Tent" (HV 35/110 kV) with a length 105 kilometers.

As reported in the Far East Energy management company, the new line will increase the energy security of the airport "Falcon", Kolyma Refinery, as well as security of supply Magadan, Ola Khasynsky and districts with a total population of more than 100,000 people.

This year, the energy will start construction of 220 kV "Orotukan — Tent — Central" with the length of 377 km. The aim of the project is to provide a power output of Ust-Srednekanskoy power plant (570 MW) in the southern part of the Magadan and Magadan, as well as the creation of conditions for development of the promising mining deposits Yana-Kolyma gold province.
