The new family of children have received not only parental care and attention, but were able to recover from serious illnesses.
In the category "The father of many children" prize was awarded to an Orthodox priest — Father John (Osyaku) from Rostov-on-Don. The family Osyakov — 18 children, a priest for 20 years, has pioneered the construction of churches in Rostov 4, the diocesan schools and Sunday schools, as well as the creation of "Orthodox village" — the first Russian project to build homes for families who have taken in orphanages.
The winners of prizes in the "Open Heart" has become a family Sorokin from the Rostov region, raised in nearly 30 years, 53 children. In 1987, the family took the education of a whole class of Tver boarding school — 17 children with various diseases, and many of them were able to return to normal life.
