In January-April vodka production decreased by 23.3%, beer — by 10.7%

The production of vodka in Russia for the first four months of 2013 decreased by 23.3% compared to the same period last year, beer and beverages based on it — by 10.7%, cigarettes — by 7.7%  In April this year the production of vodka at an annual rate decreased by 18% to $ 5.7 million dal, beer and drinks on its basis — 11.9% — to 78.2 million dal, cigarettes — by 9.4% — up to 33 billion pieces.

Brandy production in April fell by 9% compared to the same month last year — to 628,000 dal, table wine — increased by 5.6%, to 3.5 million dal. Issue carbonated natural mineral water has increased by 23.5% to $ 228 million half-liters.

Together, Russian companies have reduced the volume of production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the first four months of this year by 9.7% compared to the same period last year.
