24.12.10 IDGC of Siberia has commissioned the substation 110/10 kV Substation "Waterfront" in the Omsk region. The new substation will provide electricity to one million square meters of housing on the left bank of Omsk, social facilities and part of being built underground.
As the first deputy chairman of the regional government Valery Boyko, the uniqueness of the completed project is that it involves not only the construction of the substation, but also the reconstruction of the substation "Frunze", the laying of cable lines under the bed of the Irtysh from "Frunze" to "Coastal". The project was implemented through a public-private partnership. Its total cost is more than 2 billion rubles. Of these, 410 million rubles. — The share of federal and 262 million rubles. — Regional budgets. The remaining cost is IDGC of Siberia.
Substation "Waterfront" is fully automated and is controlled from the control center. This is the third substation automated closed-east of the Urals. The first two — "Enthusiasts" and "Spring" — are also in Omsk. These stations are compact, environmentally friendly and provided with modern equipment, including a German company Siemens.
