In Perm, launched a new production of compressors for the oil and gas industry

At the Permian plant "RusTurboMash" (a joint venture of JSC "Iskra-Avigaz" and "Siemens", created in 2010) was held launching ceremony of the machine for the production of the first chip.

The new facility, which opened in the Perm region, will produce centrifugal compressors, a new generation of linear power rating from 6.3 to 32.0 MW for gas mains.

The company "Siemens" has a 51% stake in the plant, "RusTurboMash", the rest belong to the JSC "Iskra-Avigaz." Preparations for the opening of the new production was conducted more than two years. To date, the project has invested over 30 million euros. These investments were made, in particular in the construction of the production site, the purchase of new equipment and staff training. The total joint investment is approximately EUR 60 million.   Currently, the production is under commissioning:

* Commissioning and tested the necessary equipment * in key positions hired personnel, * placed the first orders for the supply of compressors.

The output will be managed from the most modern technology and global standards with the ability to adapt to the requirements of the customer. In addition to the manufacture of compressors on the base of "RusTurboMash" scheduled pekidzhirovanie (assembly) compressors for refineries and chemical plants, metallurgy and other industries. It is planned that in 2013-2014. plant at full capacity. The localization of production in Russia is aimed at meeting the needs of the main consumer — OAO "Gazprom". For the Perm region of the commissioning of the new production line is to create more than 250 jobs, which makes the project important from both an economic and a social point of view.
