In pictures. First Mistral for Russia — the progress

being built for the Russian Navy under the contract of June 17, 2011. The formal laying of the ship was made during a ceremony Feb. 1, 2013, when the construction dry dock shipyard STX France has been installed on the keel blocks 100-ton section of the ship’s bow of the housing unit, made in September 2012. 

According to the French publication, the construction of "their" part of the "Vladivostok" French is ahead of schedule. As you can see by the pictures, Bow (actually large) "half" of the ship, which is responsible for the French side, is already in a fairly high degree of readiness, set and island superstructure. On June 26, 2013 by LLC "Baltic Shipyard — ship" St. Petersburg is scheduled descent under construction there aft hull "Vladivostok" which then in July will be towed in Saint-Nazaire, providing connection to the main part of the ship.
