In Russia’s first gold! Arsen Galstyan — Olympic Champion! JUDO — London 2012

Today, July 28, in London hosted the Olympic judo tournament.

The winner in the weight category up to 60 kg was the Russian judoka Arsen Galstyan.

On the way to a decisive battle, 23-year-old athlete in the hardest fights defeated South Korean Choi Kwang Hyon and representative of Uzbekistan Rishod Sobirov.

In the final, Arsene met with the Japanese Hiroaki Hiraoka, before a clear advantage for winning the Italian Elio Verde, and won a landslide victory in the intake assessment ippon.

We add that this is the first Olympic gold medal in the Russian Judo team from the Games-1992 in Barcelona.
