In Snezhinsk Physical Technical Institute opened education center metalworking technologies

In December 2011 Snezhinsk Physical-Technical Institute — Branch MEPhI (Moscow) was opened educational center of innovative technologies for metalworking machine tools with CNC on the basis of an interactive classroom.

The first and main task of the center — training of highly qualified specialists in the field of modern CNC systems for the State Corporation "Rosatom" and the Federal Nuclear Center. The second task — training of specialists who work in the field of training, including the production of automated CNC equipment.

In addition, the new equipment will ensure the mobility of students, National Research Nuclear University MEPI, mostly students of the branches of nearby cities — Ozersk Novouralsk Snezhinsk. This equipment will allow for professional work in schools to attract talented young people in the nuclear industry.
