In SRF implemented an automated command and control system of the new generation

The Strategic Rocket Forces (RVSN), together with the defense industry began the modernization of the command posts in the 3 missile connections. The modernization of the planned introduction of the automated parts of the combat control system (ASBU) of the fourth generation, based on the digital signal transmission system of combat.


New ASBU, along with the decision of the traditional problems of communicating orders, collection of reports and monitoring readiness launchers provides automated change of plans for the use and rapid retargeting missiles. Tracts of bringing orders and collecting reports of formed wire, radio and satellite communication channels and have the necessary durability and noise immunity. This provides the finishing orders directly to the command and control of launchers, bypassing the intermediate links, including in nuclear impact and intense jamming.

In each set of equipment that is created by using the new domestic element base, provides 3-fold redundancy of the system and data, and troubleshoot the hardware is localized to within a model element to be replaced.

Further improvement ASBU due primarily to the improvement of management systems of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as a whole, as well as the need to control nuclear missiles of the new generation. Promising basis for building links ASBU is a functional set of standardized technical means to ensure high reliability and security of information transmission. They possess properties such as compactness, low power consumption, stealth communication, resilience and reliability of the operation.

At a time when increasing the importance of each launcher and warhead, and significantly increases the role of the management of strategic nuclear forces. All this provides a continuous collection of reports in the management of the Strategic Missile Forces, and high dependability of its equipment management units.
Implementation of works on creation and introduction of new models of equipment and automation of communication allows us not only to maintain the existing level of control reliability SRF, but also significantly increases the stability of SRF management in the most difficult conditions.
