In the Caribbean, tropical storm formed Gabriel

September 5, 2013. Tropical storm "Gabriel" was formed in the environment in the Caribbean. This was reported by experts from the National Center for monitoring hurricanes, located in Miami / Florida /.

Currently, "Gabriel" is located 113 kilometers south of Puerto Rican city of Ponce. Wind speed in the eye of the storm reaches 64 km per hour. According to meteorologists, the cyclone is moving in a northwesterly direction at a speed of 13 km per hour. According to forecasts, the next day it will be between the islands of Puerto Rico and Haiti, and then turn to the north-east and lose strength in the Atlantic.
In Puerto Rico, and some eastern areas of the Dominican Republic declared a storm warning. As expected, the "Gabriel" will bring heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds.
