In the Caspian region demonstrated the unique capabilities of a mobile missile complex Ball

April 26 at the site Adanac soldiers in Dagestan Caspian Flotilla had the first rocket fire from the mobile coastal missile complex "Ball."

During the training the personnel of the command post vehicles, control and communications, using radar, took the coordinates of the target, located at a distance of 50 km on the ground in the Caspian Sea. After a comparative analysis of all the data required crew propelled launchers destroyed the target missile strike. Imaginary enemy imitated specially designed for that towed the ship’s shield target.

Rocket shooting was done in two anti-ship cruise missiles (ASM) of the type X-35.

The complex "Ball" is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 120 kilometers at any time and under the most adverse weather conditions. His firepower can frustrate the implementation of large-scale naval combat mission strike group, amphibious troop convoy or potential enemy. Feature of the complex is that the launchers can be placed on the hidden positions at a distance of 10 km from the coast.

The complex "Ball" was introduced in the Caspian Flotilla at the end of last year.
