In the nuclear center in Sarov produced more than 60 supercomputers

Experts from the Federal Nuclear Center in Sarov handed Russian industrial enterprises for more than 60 supercomputers, the first deputy general director of Rosatom Ivan Kamensky.

"Now the number of supercomputers, put us in the industry, more than six decades," — said Kamensky, transfers ITAR-TASS.

According to him, the creation of supercomputer system was carried out in the framework of the Commission under the President of Russia’s modernization and technological development of the Russian economy.

As part of the creation of multipurpose machines, the program was successful, and in a number of positions, including the supply of these mobile systems, exceeded, Kamensky said.

According to him, much of the computing resources had been allocated to enterprises of high-tech industries — aerospace, nuclear, aerospace, automotive, to settle in a remote location in the interest of the design and development of high-tech competitive products.

In particular, with the help of Sarov supercomputer calculations on KAMAZ special equipment.

According to the first deputy general director, the future belongs to such supercomputers because you save more, although the initial investment is quite big. Now the issue of the continuation of the work in this direction, but in the same way as the question of funding for the project from the federal budget, is in the process solutions.

Proprietary software supercomputer developed by specialists of the Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics, removes information dependence on expensive imported packages 3D engineering modeling.

With these versatile machines can produce a multivariate model calculations of the fragments of large technical systems, such as airplanes, automobiles, space vehicles. Supercomputers will find optimal design and technological solutions, and to make them competitive in the domestic and foreign market.
