Ltd. "cougar" ("The production of packaging materials"), a resident Pereslavsky Technopark (Pereslavl, Yaroslavl region) has opened up the production of biodegradable plastic film for industrial and food grade film and medical supplies for the manufacture of containers for infusion solutions.

Biobags look like the most ordinary plastic. But in the raw materials in their production adds a special component that allows the software under the influence of various environmental factors completely disposed of in 2-5 years (up to full utilization of conventional packages — 150-200 years).

As a result of the expansion pack produces carbon dioxide, water and biomass — all of these ingredients are harmless to the environment. The volume of investment for the project and when full capacity is 85 million rubles, the payback period — 3 years, the production capacity capable of producing 400 tons of film per month. Currently there are negotiations about the manufacture of biodegradable polyethylene for large customers "cougar."

In total, more than 500 enterprise customers, including Procter & Gamble, "Ochakovo" and others.

Production Company "cougar" was created in 1992 in Pereslavl as a division of one of the largest enterprises of the Yaroslavl region — the plant "Slavich".
