In Tomsk, open plant MDF

JSC "PBL" Partner-Tomsk "has commissioned a factory for the production of laminated wood and MDF.

Its production capacity is 264 million cubic meters of slabs per year.

The plant is located on the northern outskirts of Tomsk at the site of 43 hectares, is the largest in its segment in the Siberian Federal District, and one of the three largest in Russia. The cost of the project amounted to 190 million euros, the creditors were Eurasian Development Bank and Nomos-Bank (RTS: NMOS). Project payback period — 6.5 years.

The plant opens many opportunities for districts of the Tomsk region — Verkhneketsky, Pervomayskogo, Asino, Zyryansky, Teguldetsky whose territory is used for logging and raw materials. It is also important that the production of MDF will lead to the demand for low-grade wood, which is in about 60% of industrial stocks.
