In Ust-Tsilma opened a second visit to the Komi Center

In the village of Ust-Tsilma today inaugurated the Center of folk arts and crafts — visitor center, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic. The opening is timed to the holiday "Ust-Tsilemsky Hill" — one of the most prominent tourist brands of Komi.

The symbolic ribbon was cut by the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic Anton Friedman, head of the Ust-Cilemskogo district manager Alex Pozdeev and visit center Anastasia Ananina.

As noted by Anton Friedman, visit the discovery center was made possible thanks to the co-financing of the republican and local budgets in the long-term republican target program "Development and support of small and medium-sized businesses in the Komi Republic (2012-2013)."

— Ust-Tsilemsky area is a special territory the cultural and natural heritage of the Russian North. The traditions and customs of the Ust-Tsilma unique. This is not the first visitor center in our country, before the tourist information center was opened in the village Objachevo Priluzsky district. The plans to open two more in other parts of the country. In my opinion, the Ust-Cilemskogo visitor center, there is one undeniable advantage over other areas — to develop event tourism. Such as holiday "Ust-Tsilemsky Hill" — a unique project for the positioning of the district — said the minister.

Ust-Tsilemsky visitor center is part of the municipal budget organization "Ust-Tsilemsky Historical and Memorial Museum AV Zhuravskoye "and is located in the center of the village of Ust-Tzilma. The objectives of its activities is to create a base for carrying out the research work of social and cultural tourism, promotion of tourism products to domestic and international tourism market, the development of local folk arts and crafts, development and creation of competitive souvenirs of local artists, raising awareness of the cultural heritage and tourism opportunities in the area.

At the opening of Visit-center Anton Friedman presented a collection of "Ust-Tsilma — the pearl of the Russian North" (author — Tatiana Dronova), created as part of the republican target program "Inbound and domestic tourism in the Republic of Komi (2013-2015)."
