In Yakutia launched the first regular postal flight

August 26, 2013 the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Konstantin Semenov took part in the ceremony of sending the first scheduled plane "Mail of Russia", which will provide regular transportation of mail on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).


As reported by the Ministry of Communications and IT Yakutia, carriage of postal goods in 18 localities of the country will use a twin-engine plane Czech-made L-410. This model is a versatile vehicle for local airlines. This is the second aircraft in a contract between the operation of "Mail of Russia" and DOSAAF Russia will carry out regular flights to the Far East. The first aircraft was allocated the Khabarovsk region late last year.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Alexander Borisov thanked the "Mail of Russia" for the understanding and effective steps to address the delivery of postal goods shall be completed within localities of the country. At the same time pointed out the need to further expand the aircraft fleet, "Mail of Russia" for Yakutia in connection with the annual increase in traffic, which contributes to the development of people’s access to the Internet and e-commerce.
