In Yakutia running fiber optic length of about 1 thousand km

In the Republic of Yakutia (Sakha) launched the first in Yakutia area fiber-optic trunk "Tynda-Yakutsk" length of about one thousand kilometers and a capacity of 40 Gbit / s.


Highway built by "TransTeleKom" (TTC) under an agreement with the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), signed in March 2012. Currently, the TTC is building broadband networks in Yakutsk and Neryungri. The first connection in these cities will be implemented in early 2013. Launched today, the backbone area will be the basis for the communication infrastructure as a service, and electronic gossuslug.

According to the President of TTK Artyom Kudryavtsev, the company plans to continue building networks in Yakutia and offer its services to the residents of the republic. In particular, short-term plans, he said, the TTC is going to go to the city and Aldan Tommot.
