September 2 opened in Yaroslavl State College (College) Olympic reserve in hockey. The opening ceremony was held in the school UkrCom "Arena 2000".
State educational institution "State School of Olympic Reserve Ice" was created by order of the Government of the Russian Federation of January 25, 2012. The decision to establish the school was taken after the crash of September 7, 2011, which claimed the lives of players, "Locomotive" from Yaroslavl.
As long as there is no school of their own material and technical base. Classes will be held in the sports facilities of the city — on the basis of the Yaroslavl sports school number 9, and at the sites of several city ice arenas.
In September, the project will develop the training complex of the school. Construction of the project will be launched in 2013 as part of the Federal Target Program "Development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation in 2006-2015."
The structure of the sports complex will include two ice rinks (European and Canadian type), open hockey pitches, a swimming pool, gym, multi-purpose hall for team sports, educational buildings, medical and rehabilitation center.
