Ka-226TG for Gazprom

Russian Helicopters holding company "Helicopters of Russia" and JSC "Federal Research and Production Center" NefteGazAeroKosmos "signed a contract for the supply of 18 new light helicopters Ka-226TG. Deliveries helicopters are scheduled for 2013-2014. Under the contract, 6 Ka-226TG will be delivered in 2013, the remaining 12 helicopters is expected to hand over to the customer in 2014.
  By the time of conclusion of the contract the parties signed the terms of reference and determined the configuration of the new machine. The Ka-226TG — an upgraded version of the Ka-226T, developed in accordance with the requirements of the customer specifically to operate in the Far North and the Arctic shelf in poor visibility conditions and sudden changes in air temperature.

 

The Ka-226TG is fitted with an on-board equipment with improved performance — CCD-226TG, allowing to perform work in isolation from the main base, at night, in fog and precipitation of high density. Another difference from the basic model, the helicopter was the presence of an extra fuel tank, through which the helicopter flight distance is considerably increased.

 

At Ka-226TG is installed base engine for the type of helicopter — a turbine Arrius 2G1 French company Turbomeca (Safran Group), certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in October 2011 and IAC in January 2012.

 

Ka-226TG purchased FNPC "NefteGazAeroKosmos", designed to transmit Airline "Gazprom avia" that intends to use them to patrol the gas distribution system and other infrastructure facilities of OAO "Gazprom". Helicopters will also provide corporate transportation, repairs or held for the provision of transportation services.

 

Helicopter Design Bureau developed Ka-226T/Ka-226TG "Kamov" and produced by JSC «Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise" (part of the holding company "Helicopters of Russia"). The helicopter has a maximum takeoff weight of 3.6 tons with a payload — 1.3 m, the maximum speed reaches 250 km / h On board can accommodate up to 8 people, including a pilot.

Ka-226T — The newest helicopter with coaxial arrangement of screws, equipped with two Arrius 2G1 turboshaft engines of the French company Turbomeca and Russian VR-226N gearbox.
