Kazan International Airport increased passenger routes to 60 destinations

The international airport "Kazan" today went to the summer schedule, which increased the number of routes to 60 destinations. This was announced today correspondent of ITAR-TASS General Director Alexey Starostin airport.

Henceforth, the capital of Tatarstan, according to the chief air port, installs air routes with six new regions of the country. Passenger liners will now fly to Kirov, Orenburg, Penza, Perm, Saratov and Saransk. In the direction of Kazan-Ufa are four air carriers — "UTair", "Tatarstan", "Ak Bars Aero", "Avia Management Group." As a result, the number of flights will increase to Bashkiria c two to five a day. 

In the international schedule, a new regular flight to Kurgan-Tube, Tajikistan. Among the popular charter routes — flights to the Turkish city of Antalya and Dalaman, Egypt Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Greek Heraklion, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, and the island of Cyprus, in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Germany, Czech Republic and other countries.

In the summer schedule of Kazan, new foreign airlines: "Air Europa", a flight to Barcelona, "Air Onix" — in Simferopol and others. The involvement of international air carriers, according to Starostin, made possible by the reconstruction of the airport "Kazan". According to the program of preparation for the Universiade 2013 is a new terminal at one million passengers a year, extended runway.
