Manufacturer tramcars LLC "Tatra-Yug" (Odessa) by the end of this year, will deliver to the enterprise "Kyivpastrans" seven four-tram cars with partially low-floor.
According to the information in the "Journal of Public Procurement", the value of the contract concluded on Oct. 26 after winning the "Tatra-Yug" in the tender, approximately 34.9 million UAH (including VAT).
According to the portal, the applications for the tender was also fed LLC "Duotrans" (Dnepropetrovsk), submitted the trams Ust-Katav Railcar (RF), in the amount of 32.4 million USD and entrepreneur Alexander Drought (Bid — 36,4 million USD ).
"Tatra-Yug" was created as a joint Ukrainian-Czech company in 1993 based on software "Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant" (Dnepropetrovsk), together with the company "Tatra" (Czech Republic). Originally the trams were created on the basis of the Czech machine TRV with partial use of purchased components.
In 2001, the company created a tram car K1 fully Ukrainian production.
At the end of 2011, "Kyivpastrans" bought "Tatra-Yug" five street cars: two four-and three three-section length of 30 m with a partially low-floor.
