Technology LRW treatment of radionuclides applied to the CP LRW Kola nuclear power plant is unique. It allows you to reduce the amount of radioactive waste to be disposed of more than 50 times.

In addition to the system LRW treatment of radionuclides, the complex also includes a system of cementing spent ion-exchange resins and sludge, as well as a number of auxiliary systems. The project is complex, was developed by the St. Petersburg Institute "AEP" with the participation of specialists nuclear plant, JSC "RAOTECH», AREVA and NUKEM GmbH (Germany).
