AvtoVAZ has developed a new version of sedan Lada Granta, which is able to run on two fuels: compressed natural gas (CNG) and gasoline. The car will be officially presented at the exhibition "AutoSib — 2013" in Novosibirsk, to be held from 5 to 8 June 2013.
Novelty called Lada Granta CNG. As said in an official statement, "natural gas can reduce fuel costs by more than 3 times, and the combined fuel vehicle installation makes it possible to get more than 900 miles without refueling." The fact applies whether the Lada Granta CNG into production, as well as the possible costs of a novelty not reported.
A few years ago, was planning to release a dual-fuel AvtoVAZ Lada Priora. It was planned that gazobalonnogo equipment would increase the cost of the car for 40 thousand rubles, but the money would be paid off in 30-40 thousand kilometers. However, due to launch in the production of Lada Granta plans to release the "gas", "Prior" was dropped.
