Launched the country’s first Russian-Chinese project in the field of power generation

In the Yaroslavl region 18 June the implementation of the investment project "Huadian-Teninskaya PGU-450 MW thermal power station."

Huadian-Teninskaya PSU plans to put into operation by the end of 2014. The new boiler will consist of two gas turbines, two steam boilers, recovery boilers and one steam turbine cogeneration plant. The main fuel for combined cycle gas will be as a reserve fuel — diesel fuel. Power capacity of 450 MW, heat — 287 Gcal / h.

Approximate cost of Huadian-Teninskaya PGU-450 MW thermal power station — 20 billion rubles. The station will be 140 jobs: 80 employees — operational staff working in shifts 5 to 16 people, and 60 staff — administrative and maintenance staff.

The commissioning of the new CCGT unit will give a powerful impetus to the development of the economic and social spheres of the Yaroslavl region, and will be a model of cooperation between Russian and Chinese engineers.

The initiator of the project — JSC "TGC-2", one of the largest thermal power companies of the north and north-west Russia. Co-investor of the project — China Huadian Corporation — One of the five national unitary state corporations for the production of electricity in the PRC.
