Lukoil received another oil patch in Iraq

A consortium led by Lukoil won a tender for the development of the oil block 10 in Iraq, the oil ministry of this country.

Russian company owns 60 percent of the consortium, Inpex Corp — 40 percent. A consortium under the fourth round of the tender on the distribution of mineral resources of Iraq has provided 10 per unit minimum bid — $ 5.99 per barrel of oil equivalent.

Russia’s largest private oil company already has in Iraq, 75 percent in the project West Qurna-2, which began in April, drilling and plans to produce by the end of 2013 150,000 barrels of oil per day.
