Manufacture of machinery for January-April 2011 increased by 1.5 times

The increase in production in January — April 2011 by tractor, agricultural, logging and road construction machinery according to the profile of the Committee of Russian Engineering Union averaged 51.4%.
The increase in production achieved in virtually all types of tractor, agricultural, road construction, materials handling, except for combine harvesters, excavators and cranes.

The largest growth during this period showed
tractors for skidding (3.4 times)
bulldozers, pipe layers (3.3 times)
crawler tractors (3.1 times)
wheel tractors (2.3 times)
plows and cultivators (2 times).

The decrease in production for combine harvesters, excavators and tower cranes in January-April 2011 compared to the same period last year was:
Tower cranes — 27.3%;
Excavators — 18.4%;
Combine harvesters — by 10.7%.
A slowdown in growth of tower cranes due to the fact that since the beginning of the year produces only the two companies out of six. Reducing production of excavators associated with a reduction in the release of "SAREX" by 81.3% and in the State Unitary Enterprise "Omsk Transport Machine-Building Plant" at 71.2%. Decreased production of combine harvesters due to the fact that the main enterprise — JSC "Rostselmash" and JSC "Bryanskselmash" — reduced output by 20.9% and 26.1%, respectively.

As of May 1, 2011 the total number of vehicles not shipped decreased by 237 units and 7797 units made. This is due to the fact that in April, compared with the previous month, increased shipment volumes of finished products for almost all items of the machinery: crawler tractors, crawler tractors, forage harvesters, plows, seeders, cultivators, mowers, tractors for skidding , machines for municipal services, bulldozers and pipelayers, electric overhead traveling cranes.
Much of the equipment not shipped (71.0% or 5539 units) accounted for grain, forage harvesters and trailers agricultural machinery (4175 units — 53.5%) and tractors (1,364 pieces — 17.5%).
