MK SKSM completes the supply of steel for steel plant in Kaluga

The company "MK SKSM" completes the supply of technological steel cooler flue gas electric arc furnace at JSC "Kaluga Research and Production Electric Metallurgical Plant" (Kaluga region, Russia). The total shipment was 300 tons.

According to the chairman of the company Sergey box made of "MK SKSM" bearing metal is already installed, and has now started the process of starting production capacities of the Russian factory.  

Field supervision over the manufacture of products and equipment that has been installed on the Kaluga steel plant, carried out by General designer of the new company — the company «Siemens / VAI». German experts proposed design solution gas treatment provided for high dimensional accuracy and docking port designs. Placed on non-standard "MK SKSM ‘order was that the metal produced at the plant had" come to life "in the operation, that is to be the most malleable of vibration. A similar project was implemented only once in Russia.

As the C box, then the supply of steel Russians offered "MK SKSM" to do some work of experimental industrial character. Under the terms of the new contract, the company’s specialists had to develop new technology of welding steel alloy with a high content of graphite.

"Currently, this technology has already been developed and tested by specialists," MK SKSM. " In early February 2012, the delegation «Siemens / VAI» will verify compliance with design requirements of the customer, "- said the head of the company.
