Moscow Refinery commissioned a new wastewater treatment plant

Moscow Oil Refinery "Gazprom oil" has completed the construction of mechanical treatment plants (ISO) and closed-end revamp of bitumen production.

Investment in the construction of sewage treatment plants were 3.6 billion rubles, including 1.1 billion rubles will go to the decommissioning of the old treatment plant during 2013. Construction work for the ISO conducted in the fourth quarter of 2010.
MOS capacity of 6.7 million cubic meters a year will allow the Moscow refinery to reduce emissions by 97%.

Plant for the production of bitumen capacity of 1.7 million tons per year can produce several grades of bitumen at the same time, this process is automated. Installing the system is equipped with a sealed filling, which reduces emissions by 90%.
The investment amounted to 3.2 billion rubles, the work was carried out in the fourth quarter of 2011.

On production of the Moscow refinery accounted for 40% of the market in the Moscow region. Moscow Oil Refinery to process up to 10.5 million tons of crude oil, producing over 2.8 million tons of gasoline, 2.7 million tons of diesel fuel. The depth of processing is not less than 73.1%.

In November 2011, the refinery was renamed to OAO "Gazprom Neft — Moscow Oil Refinery" (Gazpromneft Moscow Refinery). Its shareholders are OJSC "Gazprom oil" and OAO "Moscow Oil and Gas Company" (MNGK). At the end of May 2008 for the management of the plant they are registered in the Netherlands, a joint venture on a parity basis — Moscow NPZ Holdings BV MNGK controlled by Sibir Energy, whose major shareholder is "Gazprom oil".
